Carlos Salazar

Bailey & Partners’ in-house Aviation Expert, Carlos Salazar, was a United States Air Force jet instructor. After serving his country in the USAF, Carlos Salazar was appointed by the Federal Aviation Administration as a Designated Pilot Examiner who was authorized to – and did – perform FAA approved Pilot Examinations for issuance of pilot licenses from Private Pilot to Airline Transport Pilot certifications. In addition, Mr. Salazar also served as an FAA Part 135 Examiner where he held the authorization to teach, supervise and issue FAA Part 135 Airline Transport Pilot authorizations.

Currently, Mr. Salazar serves as Bailey & Partners’ in-house Aviation Accident Investigator. During his 20+ year tenure with Bailey & Partners, Mr. Salazar has served as an accident reconstructionist in over 100 private and commercial airplane and helicopter crash cases.
